TERMS & CONDITIONS

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ADVERT COMPETITION - SEPTEMBER 2024

Promoter: 

This competition is promoted by Timbaktuu Post (Proprietary) Limited, trading as Tuu Post, (reg. no. 2018/484330/07) (“Tuu Post”, “us”, “we” or “our”).

Competition Period: The competition runs from the 6th of September 2024 – 14th of September 2024 only. No entries will be considered after 23h59 on 14th September 2024.

Who Can Enter:

You are eligible to participate in this competition or promotion if:

·You are a natural person, at least 18 years old, and a permanent resident of South Africa, and

You are NOT:

A supplier of goods or services connected to this competition,
A director, member, partner, employee, agent, or consultant to the Promoter, or any other entity directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by the Promoter,
A family member (spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister) or business partner of the persons mentioned above.

How to enter:

On Facebook or X.com(Twitter) visit the Kasi Economy page or Tuu Post page and repost the advertised Tuu Post business opportunity
In the repost tag Tuu Post using @TuuPost on X.com and @TuuPost on Facebook
Tag an internet café, pharmacy or local grocer in your community that you believe could benefit from the Tuu Post business opportunity.

All three of the above conditions must be met for your entry to be deemed valid. You may tag multiple businesses in your repost.

Upon entering the competition, you are deemed to have read and accepted all terms and conditions of the competition. Tuu Post reserves the right to modify the competition at any time without prior notice.

Entry fees: 

Participation in the promotions or competitions is completely free, and no entry fees are required.

Prize:

2 (Two) x R500 (Five Hundred Rand) cash prizes for entries received on X.com (Twitter).
1 (One) x R500 (Five Hundred Rand) cash prize for entries received on Facebook.

The prize is non-transferable.

Selection of Winner(s): 

The 3 (three) winners will be chosen by Tuu Post via a random draw process and winners will be announced on the 18th of September 2024. Winners of the Tuu Post competition will be announced on Tuu Post’s X.com (Twitter) https://x.com/TuuPost and Facebook https://www.facebook.com/TuuPost pages with the relevant handles tagged. Decision in selection of the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any competition participant other than the 3 (three) winners.

Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries, or entries sent through agencies and third parties, will not be accepted.

Tuu Post will attempt to contact the winners via direct message on their social media accounts, however if the winner does not respond to contact within 48 (Forty-Eight) hours from the message being sent, the winner will forfeit his/her prize and Tuu Post reserves the right to redraw such prize.

Forfeit:

A winner(s) will forfeit his/her prize in the following situations:

If they fail to provide the necessary participant information within 48 (Forty-Eight) hours of the request,
If they are found to have breached any of the competition rules stated herein,
If it is unlawful for the winner to receive the prize.

In case of a forfeit, Tuu Post reserves the right to select another winner from the remaining participants.

Use of participant and winner information: 

By participating in this competition, you agree and consent to the use by Tuu Post or a third party nominated by Tuu Post of your participant information for purposes related to this competition. You consent that your social media handle may be announced, posted and displayed on the Tuu Post’s social media pages. The winner may also be requested to participate in marketing activities, including having his/her photograph taken or being filmed, but he/she will be entitled to decline to do so. The participant will not be entitled to any form of remuneration as a result of Tuu Post so using his/her participant information.

Unforeseen events: 

In the event of any unforeseen circumstances or any causes beyond Tuu Post’s reasonable control, Tuu Post at its sole discretion reserves the right to cancel this competition, amend the rules, or change the prize at any time without notice to you. Should any unforeseen event occur that may render the prize draw or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Tuu Post, no liability whatsoever shall be attributable to Tuu Post.

By participating in this competition, you are deemed to have read and accepted all terms and conditions of the competition. A copy of these competition rules is made available at http://www.tuupost.com.

BRAND FORMATS

 By entering into this competition, you acknowledge and consent that Tuu Post may process your personal information provided to us. Your personal information shall be processed in strict compliance with the applicable Data Protection Legislation (Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013) and Tuu Post’s privacy policy accessible on request or on Tuu Post's website at https://www.tuupost,com/privacy-policy;

Indemnification: 

You will fully indemnify, defend and hold Tuu Post harmless from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, causes of action and other proceedings arising from or related to any of the following (the "Claims"): (a) your use of, inability to use, or activities in connection with the website; (b) any violation of these terms and conditions or any other Tuu Post terms, conditions or policies by you or through any account you may have with any website; (c) any transaction; (d) any allegation that any submission or other materials that you make available through the website infringe or otherwise violate the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party; or (e) your violation of any rights of any website visitor, user, or customer, or any other third party; and you agree to reimburse Tuu Post on demand for any damages, losses, costs, judgments, fees, fines and other expenses we incur (including attorneys' fees) as a result of any claim(s). This means that you will be held liable for any loss or damage we suffer following any claims.

Governing Law:

This competition in its entirety, is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
