OUR STORY

2018 — Timbaktuu is founded by Vuyo Tofile as a virtual distribution company serving the informal market

through licensed Timbaktuu Point agents.

2020 – Start providing parcel services through retail stores located in South Africa informal markets.

2022 - In search of growth, the retail partner network expanded and new digital products developed.

Various partnerships were secured to strengthen the position of the company.

2023 - Based on market opportunity and cross-selling synergies with the aim to create an Emerging Market

focused ecommerce enablement and outsourced technology services group.

2024 - Timbaktuu rebrands core business and group to become Tuu Post with Tuu Post partner points.

Future - Expand as an multi-service business focused on ecommerce and last-mile delivery enablement.
